The project commenced with the demolition of the existing boundary wall, removal of shrubs and chain-link fencing. Existing concrete slabs were then removed along the length of the proposed new build wall line. Excavation for and laying new trench foundations to specified depths and poured concrete foundation then took place, prior to the construction of new brick wall in recycled stock bricks, laid in lime mortar to the same bond as the original and to the original height.
