With the existing façade under Grade II listing, the sensitivity of the extensive repairs required Wandle Villa were challenging. The existing flint was matched through petrographic analysis, to ensure continuity throughout the building construction and to comply with local planning constraints. All flint work was rebuilt with lime mortars to ensure breathability of the newly installed sections.
